Celebrating the Wins: A Year of Gratitude and Progress

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!

As the year draws to a close, I find myself reflecting on the journey it has been. This year was filled with milestones, challenges, and lessons that shaped not only my professional life but also my personal growth. It was a year of triumphs big and small, and I’m filled with gratitude for every step along the way.

A Year of Milestones

Looking back, I’m proud of the goals I set and achieved. From launching new projects to building stronger relationships, every win—whether celebrated in a big way or quietly acknowledged—mattered deeply. These milestones weren’t just about hitting targets but about aligning closer to my vision and values. As for the past few years I took a step back and slowly re-building myself, the moments I questioned myself and my what if’s and what not! Those silent battles that I fought and won and still challenging me. Those redirection that gave the answers I seek.

Here are a few highlights from the year:

  • Professional Growth: Taking a Break in my line of Profession. This was the year I felt well-rested, The Burnt-out was real and felt so wrong to-me everytime I took a project as I had a creative block and affecting all designs I made. This year as I say NO for most things and only accepting projects that I feel I can give my best and it feels right. It gave way to cultivate and explore new things that I haven’t given any attention to and got to learn new things that may or may not directly affected my line of Educational Degree.

  • Personal Achievements: Cultivating habits that brought balance and focus to my life, from committing to daily mindfulness to learning new skills that enriched my perspective. Learned to Let Go of the things that are beyond my control and took steps one at a time rather than doing multiple things.

  • Business Wins: Letting Go! Learned not to create a plan this year and I used to do a business plan, and not even to follow through as life gets in the way. Indeed by Letting Go, It was the Clarity that I gained.I’m a multi-passionate and yet I overwhelm myself and stretched myself too thin to the point of Burnt-out. Letting Go was my biggest win in the business.

Lessons Learned Along the Way

This year wasn’t without its share of challenges. There were moments of uncertainty and obstacles that tested my resilience. Yet, these moments became opportunities for growth. I learned to embrace adaptability, lean into collaboration, and trust the process—even when the outcome wasn’t immediately clear. I don’t need to have a plan but this year was adapting the possibilities.

One key takeaway was the importance of gratitude. Taking time to appreciate progress, no matter how small, created momentum and fostered a mindset of abundance. It reminded me that every step forward is worth celebrating.

Looking Ahead: A New Chapter

As I prepare to step into the next year, I’m energized by the possibilities ahead. The goals I’m setting are getting simpler and complicated but grounded in purpose. Here’s a glimpse of what’s next:

  • Deepening Impact. What’s next is only for tomorrow to know the path. Embracing the People, The connection and align yourself to your vision even when you are lost taking a break is not a bad thing. It’s the society’s perception that we must and should be working to survive rather than living. So Live!

  • Building Connections, Whether I’ll stay in Interior Design or Explore a new path. We will always be connected and most especially connecting with our inner self.

  • Embracing Growth: Continuing to invest in personal and professional development, staying curious, and taking bold steps toward the future.

Gratitude for the Journey

I want to take a moment to thank everyone who has been part of my journey this year. To my clients, partners, friends, and family—your support and encouragement mean the world to me. Each interaction, project, and conversation has played a role in shaping this incredible year.

As I close this chapter and look toward the next, I’m reminded that progress is not just about the destination but about the journey. It’s about showing up, taking risks, and celebrating the wins—big and small—along the way. Here’s to a new year filled with opportunity, growth, and gratitude.

Thank you for being part of my story. Let’s make the next chapter extraordinary, together.

Let’s catch up soon!

Xoxo,

Emari Pimentel
